The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Autumn in Mahone Bay by Karen Cook - -If you were to ask any Nova Scotia resident what is the most famous scene in Mahone Bay..they would promptly reply "the three churches" or "Church Row' as it is also known. This scene is as famous as the lighthouse at Peggy's Cove and has been featured on calendars and postcards alike.
The problem is finding the right location to capture this iconic scene. Mahone Bay was founded in the mid 18th century and curves around the waters of the bay that bears its name. The roads are narrow, and it is difficult to find a place to park.
So after leaving the town and continually looking over my shoulder, we discovered a side road that follows the other side of the bay and there was the scene I was looking for.
But no place to pull off safely. So a quick U turn...a quick pull over to one side of the road..I had one opportunity to capture the scene before jumping back in the car!
