This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
Dome Glacier and moraine and surrounding mountain peaks, Alberta, Canada. This glacier is one of several that flow off Snow Dome (3456 metres), a mountain on the Continental Divide in the Columbia Icefield. The terminal face of the glacier is the rugged icefall area in the distance at centre. At lower centre, the ridge running towards lower right is a structure known as a moraine. This is a mass of unconsolidated glacial debris that has piled up here due to the weight and movement of the glacier eroding the underlying rock. The glacier has retreated since this moraine was formed. Photographed in February 2013, from the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93 north).
