The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Road to the treasure by Karen Cook - The road to the buried treasure of Oak Island!

Behind the boulders and beach rock that protect the shoreline from erosion caused by the pounding tides of the north Atlantic in Nova Scotia's Mahone Bay, a road leads to Oak Island's famed Money Pit area.

As the story goes, in the late 1700s, 3 young men discovered a depression in the ground under an oak tree on the island. Believing that pirates including Captain Kidd had buried treasure, they dug a hole, discovering a series of platforms, at different intervals and depths. According to the legend, some believe they discovered buried treasure but left due to superstition and fear. That area, over the centuries has become known as the Money Pit.

The story was published in local newspapers and the fame of the island spread. The treasure hunt was on! Over the next centuries, many attempts were made to recover what was thought to be fabulous treasures, Aztec Gold, Shakespear...
