This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
People domesticated pigeons over 5,000 years ago and continue to breed them for various purposes today. There are fancy pigeons, racing homing pigeons (as featured) and pigeons raised for meat production. Some racing homing pigeons are raised to be released at a wedding but, for various reasons, are unable to return to the roost. This increases the feral population.
Humane help is available through rescue organizations. There are plenty of non-releasable pigeons ready for adoption and online advice sources. I was surprised how many pigeon enthusiasts there are around the globe saying they make intelligent, affectionate and inquisitive companions.
