The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Oak Island Memorial by Karen Cook - With the causeway to Oak Island as a backdrop, our first stop on our visit to the famous island was to pay our respects at the Oak Island Memorial.

Located in Mahone Bay on the east coast of Canada, in Nova Scotia, Oak Island is one of more than 350 islands in the bay and is home to what is regarded as the world's longest running treasure hunt.

As the story goes, in the late 1700s, 3 young boys discovered a depression in the ground under an oak tree on the island. Believing that pirates including Captain Kidd had buried treasure, they dug a hole, discovering a series of platforms, at different intervals and depths. According to the legend, some believe they discovered buried treasure but left due to superstition and fear.
